Improving your listing’s visibility on LocalZ helps you attract more potential customers and increase engagement. Every listing on the platform must be claimed or created by an authorized business — there are no free or passive listings. Once a listing is active, it becomes a Standard Listing, and includes SEO support to help you shine outside the LocalZ platform.
Only claimed listings are eligible to appear in searches, on the map, and in promotions. Unclaimed listings are limited to business name and address and do not offer contact options or profile customization.
When a listing is claimed or created, it becomes a Standard Listing and unlocks:
Full profile management
Directory visibility
Access to upgrades
A custom SEO content benefit provided by the LocalZ SEO Team
2. Complete the SEO Questionnaire
After your listing is claimed or created, you’ll receive a questionnaire from the LocalZ team. This form is designed to gather key information about your business — what you do and where you do it.
The SEO Team uses your responses to write professionally optimized content that:
Describes your services clearly and accurately
Includes relevant keywords based on your location and category
Can help improve your visibility in external search engines like Google
Note: This SEO content does not influence your ranking within the LocalZ platform, but it enhances your profile’s overall web presence.
3. Fully Complete Your Profile
Searchable listings perform better when they are complete. Make sure you include:
Logo and banner image
Business description (250–400 words recommended)
Business hours
Up to 10 categories
Unlimited tags
Contact information
Website, social media links, and optional video
4. Use Accurate Categories and Strong Tags
Choose categories that reflect your actual services. Use tags that match what customers might search for, such as:
