The LocalZ Business Directory is designed to help users quickly find trusted local businesses by category, location, or keyword. Whether you’re a customer looking for services or a business verifying your own listing, the search function is your starting point.
Where to SearchYou can search the directory from two main locations:
The LocalZ Homepage — features a search bar front and center
The Directory Page — includes filters for more refined searching
Both options allow you to filter by category, location, or business name.
Step-by-Step: Search by Location and CategoryGo to LocalZ.net
In the homepage search bar:
Enter your city or ZIP code
Select a business category (e.g., Plumbers, Accountants, Cafés)
Click Search to view results in your area
Browse listings by relevance, proximity, or featured status
You’ll see:
Business name
Category
Short preview (if the listing is claimed)
Map view of all matching listings in the area
Tags like “Featured” or “Sponsored” for promoted businesses
Use the same search bar and type the exact business name (or part of it)
Add your city or ZIP code for better accuracy
Hit Search to locate that business directly
If it exists, click the listing to view details or claim it if applicable
On the main Directory page, you can use filters to narrow your search:
By Category
By Location (City, State, ZIP)
By Keyword (services offered, specialties, etc.)
By Listing Type (Standard, Featured, Sponsored)
This makes it easier to find the most relevant results for your needs.
Tips for Accurate SearchesUse specific keywords (e.g., “roof repair” instead of “roof”)
