Last Update hace 23 días

To ensure trust, accuracy, and professionalism across the LocalZ platform, all business listings must follow these rules and guidelines. These policies are in place to protect both business owners and users, and to keep the directory clean, reliable, and locally focused.

For full legal terms, visit the LocalZ Business Directory Terms of Use.

Who Can Be Listed on LocalZ

The LocalZ Directory is for real businesses operating in the United States. Eligible listings include:

  • Local service providers (e.g., plumbers, electricians, cleaners)

  • Brick-and-mortar stores, restaurants, salons, and clinics

  • Licensed professionals (e.g., attorneys, accountants, contractors)

  • Community organizations and nonprofits

  • Mobile and home-based businesses with a valid U.S. service area

What Is Not Allowed

To maintain the integrity of the directory, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Fake or misleading business names or services

  • Duplicate listings for the same business or location

  • Unclaimed listings claimed by unauthorized individuals

  • Irrelevant or misleading tags and categories

  • Personal pages, affiliate-only links, or non-business content

  • Offensive, inappropriate, or unprofessional language

  • Listings for businesses outside the U.S.

Ownership and Responsibility

  • Only authorized individuals (owner, manager, or representative) may create or claim a listing

  • You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate and up to date

  • Misuse of listings or impersonation may result in removal or account suspension

  • If a business changes ownership, a new claim request must be submitted by the new representative

Content Guidelines

Your listing should accurately represent your business. Follow these content standards:

  • Descriptions must clearly explain what your business does and where it operates

  • Use proper grammar and avoid all-caps, excessive symbols, or emojis

  • Images must be relevant (e.g., logo, storefront, work samples) and free from watermarks or promotions

  • Tags must describe your business services, not competitors or unrelated keywords

  • Videos must be embedded from YouTube or Vimeo, and represent your business professionally

Reporting Violations

See something inaccurate, inappropriate, or duplicated?

  • Use the “Report Listing” option on the business profile

  • Or contact LocalZ Support through the Help Center

The LocalZ team reviews all reports and may take action if the listing violates any policies.

Enforcement

Listings may be removed, hidden, or suspended without notice for:

  • Violating these guidelines or the full Terms of Use

  • Submitting false or misleading information

  • Repeated misuse of tags, categories, or content fields

Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

Stay Compliant

Make sure your listing remains in good standing by:

  • Keeping your information accurate

  • Respecting the platform rules and other businesses

  • Submitting only truthful and relevant content
