As an Ambassador in the LocalZ Community Affiliate Program (also called a LocalZ Community Affiliate Ambassador or LCAA), your role is to invite individuals and organizations to join as LCAs and start fundraising using the LocalZ Directory. This step-by-step guide will walk you through how to find your Ambassador link, how to invite LCAs, and how to track your network, all while supporting local fundraising efforts.

Step 1: Access Your LCAA Invite Link and QR Code

Log in to your Business Account on LocalZ. From your dashboard, navigate to the section labeled “Network.” There, you will find your unique Ambassador referral link and a matching QR code. This link is used only to invite new LCAs; do not use this link to invite businesses.

Step 2: Share Your Link with Fundraisers

Start sharing your LCAA invite link or QR code with local fundraising groups, teams, churches, schools, nonprofits, or individuals. These are the people, organizations or groups that will become LCAs. You can share your link through email, social media, or text messages. Use your QR code on posters, flyers, or handouts at community events or meetings.

Step 3: Help New LCAs Understand the Opportunity

When someone joins using your referral link, they become part of your Ambassador network. As an LCAA, you earn 12% of the commissions they generate, but this does not reduce their earnings. LCAs still earn the full 50% commission on every business they sign up, including subscription renewals.

Step 4: LCAs Receive Their Own Business Signup Tools

Once they’re registered, LCAs will get their own affiliate link and QR code to give to local businesses. When a business signs up using that link, the LCA earns 50% of the business’s subscription. As the Ambassador, you earn 12% of what each of your LCAs earns—without taking anything away from their share.

Step 5: Track Your LCAA Network

Return to your dashboard anytime to view your Ambassador network. You’ll be able to see a list of the LCAs you’ve invited, how many businesses they’ve referred, and how much total commission has been generated through your network. This gives you a clear picture of your impact and earnings.

Step 6: Get Paid

Commissions are paid out twice a month—on or around the 1st and the 15th. There is a 14-day clearing period for all commissions. Once your total cleared balance reaches $50, your payout will be processed automatically. All participants must have a PayPal account to receive payments.

Tips for Success

  • Focus on people or organizations who are already fundraising or looking for new ways to raise money.

  • Share your QR code at local events, fundraisers, and community spaces.

  • Use your dashboard regularly to monitor progress and follow up with LCAs you’ve invited.

  • Remind LCAs that they earn full commission and that you’re simply here to help them succeed.

By following these steps, you can grow a powerful network of LCAs and create long-term recurring income—all while helping others raise funds through the LocalZ platform.
