As a LocalZ Community Affiliate (LCA), you earn 50% commission on every paid business subscription referred through your link or QR code — including renewals. Here’s how your earnings are processed and paid.

Payment Method

All commissions are paid via PayPal.

An active PayPal account is required to receive payouts. Make sure the email address connected to your PayPal is correctly entered in your Affiliate Dashboard.

Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed twice per month, on or around the 1st and the 15th.

  • Commissions that have cleared will be included in the next available payout cycle

  • Example: If a business signs up on April 1, your commission clears by April 15 and will be paid on or around May 1

Commission Clearing Time

All commissions go through a 14-day clearing period before they are eligible for payout. This allows time to verify the transaction and ensure the business remains active.

  • Cleared commissions will show as “eligible” in your dashboard

  • Pending commissions will automatically update after the 14-day period

Minimum Payout Amount

You must have at least $50 in cleared commissions to receive a payout.

  • If your cleared commissions are under $50, your balance rolls over to the next cycle

  • Once your total reaches $50 or more, you’ll be paid during the next scheduled payout

What’s Included in Commission Calculations

Commissions are calculated based on the base subscription amount only.

You do not earn commission on:

  • Taxes

  • Shipping fees (if applicable to other areas of the platform)

  • Optional add-ons such as paid ads or featured placements

Tax Reporting

To comply with U.S. tax laws:

  • Individuals must provide a Social Security Number (SSN)

  • Organizations must provide an Employer Identification Number (EIN)

    LocalZ will issue necessary tax documentation if your earnings meet federal reporting thresholds.

Tracking Payments

Your Affiliate Dashboard allows you to:

  • Monitor pending and cleared commissions

  • Track your total lifetime earnings

  • View payout history and status
