The LocalZ Marketplace is a centralized platform where approved vendors can list and sell products directly to customers. Each vendor has access to their own store dashboard to manage products, orders, and payouts.
Purpose of the MarketplaceThe Marketplace is designed to:
Provide a space for local businesses to sell products online
Allow customers to browse, compare, and purchase from multiple vendors in one place
Centralize shipping policies and customer service standards for a consistent buyer experience
Vendors can:
Set up a public storefront with a custom banner, logo, and business description
Add, edit, and organize products into categories
Track and manage orders from customers
Process returns and refunds where applicable
Monitor payouts and view earnings
All products must include free shipping to the customer
Vendors are responsible for calculating and including shipping costs in the product price
Vendors should use a shipping calculator or service to determine average shipping costs
Orders must be fulfilled within the time frame specified in your store settings
Payments from customers are collected by LocalZ
Vendor payouts are processed on a scheduled basis after order completion
Commission fees and payout timelines are outlined in the Vendor Terms & Conditions
To open a store on the LocalZ Marketplace, you must:
Have a claimed business listing in the LocalZ Directory
Own or operate a product-based business
Agree to follow the Marketplace guidelines and fulfillment expectations
Be able to ship within the country (and internationally if applicable)
Have a payment method set up to receive payouts
